Nelab ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") operates the Nelab mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle your information when you use our app, website, and related services.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Phone number
• Name and profile information
• Password (encrypted)
• Profile photo (optional)

We collect your location (with your permission) to:

• Find nearby venues and sessions
• Show distance information

You can disable location sharing in your device settings at any time.

2.3 Photos and Images

You may upload photos to:

• Your profile
• Community posts
• Venue and session information

These photos are stored securely on our servers and shared based on your privacy settings.

• Chat messages between users
• Messages in groups and communities
• Customer support communications

2.5 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Thawani, a third-party payment processor licensed in Oman. We do not store your credit card information. When you make a payment, we share your name, contact number, and email address with Thawani to process the transaction. Thawani collects and processes payment data according to their privacy policy.

2.6 Device Information

We automatically collect:

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Device identifiers
• Crash reports and analytics

2.7 Usage Data

We track:

• Features you use
• Time spent in app
• Bookings and interactions
• Search queries

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and improve the Nelab app
• Process bookings and payments
• Send notifications about bookings and messages
• Find venues and sessions near you
• Enable community features (groups, chat, posts)
• Personalize your experience
• Fix bugs and prevent fraud

• Respond to customer support requests

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service Providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Thawani (payments), Expo (app infrastructure and push notifications)
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights
• Community Users: Your profile and messages are visible to other app users based on your settings

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase servers with industry-standard encryption. Our servers may be located outside of Oman; by using the app you consent to your data being transferred to and stored in these locations. We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access and loss.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Booking and payment records may be retained longer where required for accounting, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Account & Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at thenelabco@gmail.com from your registered email address. We will delete your account and personal data within 30 days of your request, except for records we are legally required to keep (such as payment records).

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Correction: Update inaccurate information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt-out: Disable notifications, location sharing, and analytics

9. Tracking & Advertising

We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, we do not show third-party advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers or advertising networks.

10. Permissions

Our app requests the following permissions:

• Photo Library: To upload venue and session images
• Camera: To take photos for profile and posts
• Location: To find nearby venues and sessions
• Microphone: For voice messaging (future feature)
• Notifications: To notify you about bookings and messages

You can revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time.

11. Children's Privacy

Nelab is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

12. Third-Party Links

Our app may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before sharing your information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and/or sending an in-app notification.
